REMINDER
Interstate 71/MLK project update
 
Hamilton County (Monday, Aug. 15, 2016) – The following restrictions will be in place this week as part of the work to create a new, full movement interchange at Interstate 71 and Martin Luther King Drive.
 
Monday, Aug. 15 through Wednesday, Aug. 17 - various lane closures on north and southbound I-71 from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day. Also short term full closures on southbound I-71 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
 
Thursday, Aug 18 and Friday, Aug 19 – various lane closures on southbound I-71 from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day. Also short term full closures on southbound I-71 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
 
Beginning at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 Lincoln Avenue bridge over I-71 will be closed both east and westbound until 6 a.m. Law enforcement officers will maintain traffic.
 
The detour will use Reading Road, Oak Street and Stanton Avenue
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is dependent upon weather.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.

The Ohio Department of Transportation maintains the state's largest man-made asset--the transportation system.
