Interstate 471 lane and short-term full closures scheduled

Hamilton County (Wednesday, June 13, 2018) - THIS WORK HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED DUE TO RAIN. 
Bridge work requires the following various nightly lane closures on Interstate 471 and the I-471 ramps:
  • Full closure of the north I-471/I-71 lanes at U.S. Route 50 from 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 until 5 a.m. Thursday, June 14. All traffic will be moved to the I-71/I-75 ramp to east State Route 562.
  • Close the left lane of south I-471 from I-71 to the U.S. 50 bridge from 10 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday, June 15. The south I-471 ramps from U.S. 50 and Fifth Street will also be closed during this time.
  • Close the right lane of south I-471 from I-71 to the US. 50 bridge from 10 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday, June 16.
  • Various lane closures on east and west Eggleston Avenue from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day, Friday, June 15 through Friday, June 22.
  • Short-term full closures on north and south I-471 at U.S. 50 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following day, Monday, June 18 through Friday, June 22. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers. 
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
