Highway advisory radio (HAR) - 1700 AM is being used to provide notice of upcoming traffic pattern changes, interstate travel times, incident notification and to recommend local deliveries take place in off-peak hours. At times, a citizens band announcement will also be broadcast to warn users to avoid the North Bend Road/I-74 interchange.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane and ramp closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
