REVISED
Various lane and short-term full closures
scheduled for overhead sign installations
Hamilton and Preble counties (Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019) - Overhead
sign installations require the following restrictions next week. DATES
HAVE BEEN REVISED DUE TO THE WEATHER.
Sunday, Jan. 20: FRIDAY, JAN. 25: Short-term
full closures on north Interstate 75/I-71 at the Brent Spence bridge between
midnight and 4 a.m. SATURDAY, JAN. 26. Traffic
will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Monday, Jan. 21: SUNDAY, JAN. 27: Work in the
gore area on north I-471, north of Third Street, beginning at 7 p.m. No lane
closures necessary. Once complete, work will move to east I-275 on the Ohio
side of the Combs Hehl bridge until approximately 6 a.m. MONDAY,
JAN. 28. The right lane of east I-275 will be closed.
Tuesday, Jan. 22: Short-term full closures on east I-74 at the Ohio/Indiana state
line between 11:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23. Traffic will be
maintained with law enforcement officers.
Wednesday, Jan. 23: Short-term full closures on east I-275 at the Ohio/Indiana state
line between midnight and 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24. Traffic will be maintained
with law enforcement officers.
Thursday, Jan. 24: PREBLE COUNTY - Various lane
closures on east and west I-70 at the Ohio/Indiana state line from 6 p.m. until
7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25. Traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
