Red Lion SR 122 closure delayed to June 10

Closure of east leg of SR 122 in Red Lion to begin June 10
Warren County (Thursday, June 6, 2013) –The closure of the east leg of SR 122 between its intersections with SR 741 and the south leg of SR 123has been delayed to Monday, June 10.
 
The closure, which had been scheduled to start today, is to accommodate the next phase of work for the Red Lion-Five Points intersection realignment project.
 
This closure will be in place for 28 days. SR 122 traffic approaching the closure from the east will be routed to southbound SR 123 to west on Greentree Road to north on SR 741.Traffic approaching from the west will be routed to north on SR 741 to east on SR 73 to south on SR 48. In addition, a section of SR 122 just east of its intersection with SR 123 south will undergo part-width construction, requiring one lane of alternating traffic maintained by a traffic signal.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
