SR
122 closure scheduled for culvert work
Preble County
(Friday, Oct. 16, 2015) – Work to accommodate culvert replacement
will require closing State Route 122 for 12 days.
SR 122 will be closed between U.S. 127 and Wyatt Road
from 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26 through 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6.
The detour for eastbound SR 122 traffic is south on
U.S. 127 to south on SR 732 to north on Wyatt Road, with westbound SR 122 traffic
using the reverse detour.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road
closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
