SR 123 new alignment to open Nov. 5

New SR 123 Alignment Open to Traffic Nov. 5

Warren County (Friday, Nov. 2, 2012) – The new alignment of State Route 123 will open to traffic at approximately 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5.
With this opening, the traffic signal at the relocated SR 123/SR 122 intersection will be fully operational. In addition, local traffic will use the new connector road to access residential areas on the old section of SR 123 at Red Lion.
The new SR 123 realignment is part of the Red Lion-Five Points intersection realignment project, work on which will continue through October 2013.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
