State Route 131 Detour Begins May 17

Clermont County (Tuesday, May 10, 2016) – Replacing two culverts requires closing State Route 131, 1.1 miles east of Belfast-Owensville Road, next week.

Beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, SR 131 will be closed between SR 132 and SR 133 until approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 20.

Eastbound SR 123 traffic will be detoured south on SR 132 to east on U.S. 50 to north on SR 133; westbound SR 123 traffic will use the reverse detour.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road closure.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
