SR 131 closure extended

State Route 131 closure extended

Clermont County (Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016) – Unexpected utility relocation work and rain have delayed the culvert replacement project on SR 131 at the SR 131/132 intersection with Belfast Road. The road is expected to reopen Friday, Sept. 16.

The detour continues to use SR 132, U.S. 50, SR 133 and SR 131.

Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.

For ongoing traffic, construction and weather-related information, please check www.OHGO.com.
