S.R. 222 Culvert Replacement On Tap

Clermont County (Friday, December 6, 2019) - A culvert replacement project has been scheduled on state Route 222 in Clermont County, requiring a five-day closure of the route this month.
S.R. 222 will be closed at two locations between Crane Schoolhouse and Berry roads during the week of December 16 for crews from ODOT's Clermont County Highway Maintenance Facility to replace two deteriorated culverts situated at the 15.61 and the 17.10-mile markers, respectively.
The first project site is located just south of Lindale Nicholsville Road, north of Crane Schoolhouse Road, and the closure will go into effect beginning at approximately 7 a.m. Monday, December 16, and continue until 4 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, or until all work is completed.
The second site is located just south of Shady Lane, and the closure will go into effect at approximately 7 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, and continue until 4 p.m. Friday, December 20, or until all work is completed.
Completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather, and while the route is closed at either location, traffic will be detoured by way of S.R. 232 and S.R. 125.
