State Route 562 ramp closure/I-71 lane closures
Hamilton County (Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016) – Bridge painting requires closing the ramp from eastbound State Route 562 to southbound Interstate 71 this weekend.
Beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, the ramp from eastbound SR 562 to southbound I-71 will be closed until 6 a.m. Monday, August 8.
Traffic will be detoured to northbound I-71, up and over the Kenwood Road exit (Exit 12), to southbound I-71.
Also, bridge painting will require closing the right lanes of southbound Interstate 71 at SR 562 each night from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day Friday, Aug. 5 until Monday, Aug. 8.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone, lane and ramp closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
