SR 741 closure scheduled for culvert replacement

Warren County (Wednesday, June 29, 2016) – Two culvert replacements require closing State Route 741.

One culvert is located just north of Red Lion, at mile marker 11.38. The other culvert is located near Pekin Road, at mile marker 12.27.

Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, July 11, SR 741 will be closed between State Route 122 and SR 73 until approximately 3 p.m. Thursday, July 15. Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained.

The detour will use SR 73, Interstate 75 and SR 123.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
