SR 741 in Red Lion to close for 28 days

Closure of north leg of SR 741 in Red Lion to begin July 24

Warren County (Thursday, July 18, 2013) – The next phase of work for the Red Lion-Five Points Intersection realignment project will require closure of the north leg of SR 741 between its intersections with SR 122 and SR 73.

This closure will be in place for 28 days, beginning Wednesday, July 24.  Northbound SR 741 traffic will be routed to eastbound SR 122 to northbound SR 48 to westbound SR 73, back to SR 741.  Southbound SR 741 traffic will use the same detour in reverse.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.  All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
