State Route 748 Detour Begins May 17
Butler
County (Tuesday, May 10, 2016) – Culvert replacement
requires closing State Route 748 just north of Layhigh Road next week.
Beginning
at 7 a.m. Monday, May 16, SR 748 will be closed between SR 126 and SR 129 until
approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 20.
Northbound
SR 748 traffic will be detoured west on SR 126 to east on SR 129; southbound SR
748 traffic will use the reverse detour.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work
zone and road closure.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
