Seymour Avenue Bridge lane closure begins
Tuesday, Dec. 5
Hamilton County (Monday, Dec. 4, 2017) - Phase 8A of the Mill Creek
Expressway Project replaces the Seymour Avenue (State Route 561) Bridge
(Exit 9) over Interstate 75, and reconstructs portions of the Paddock Road/I-75
bridge.
Westbound Seymour
Avenue over I-75 (the north side of the bridge) will be closed to traffic
beginning at approximately 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5 for one year. Traffic
will be detoured using Paddock Road, Towne and Vine streets.
Eastbound Seymour Avenue (the south side of the bridge) will be
reduced to one lane during this time. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on
the existing sidewalk on the south side of the bridge.
Arrow boards and signs
are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All
work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.

construction and weather-related information, please check www.OHGO.com.
