Shepherd Avenue
closure scheduled

Nov. 4, 2014) –
Demolition work will require closing Shepherd Avenue at its entrance to
northbound traffic from Wyoming Avenue in the village of Lockland.
The
road will be closed at 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10 for approximately one month while
the Stearns and Foster building is demolished. Traffic will be detoured to West
Forrer Avenue north back to Shepherd Avenue. Southbound traffic will be
maintained.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the upcoming road closure.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
