State Route 125 lane
closures scheduled
Enhancement project
Hamilton/Clermont
counties (Thursday, May
25, 2017) – Enhancement work on State Route 125 requires a lane shift in
both directions beginning Monday, June 12. Work includes sidewalks placement, streetscape
improvements, decorated lighting and new landscape.
Various lane
closures will be in place on SR 125 between Wolfangel Road and Cherry Grove Plaza
(Independence Drive) to incorporate a lane shift on east and westbound SR 125.
Lane widths will also be reduced to 11 feet.
Daily lane
closures are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with
nightly lane closures from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day. These lane
closures will be in effect until approximately May 1, 2018.
Arrow boards
and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
road closure.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through a work zone.
