State Route 126 lane closure and traffic switch
scheduled
Hamilton County (Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018) - Bridge work requires
closing the right lane of east State Route 126 from Kenwood Road to Montgomery
Road beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 until 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7.
REMINDER: In order to switch traffic into a new configuration, the right
lane of east SR 126 from Kenwood to Montgomery will be closed between 8 a.m.
and 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8. Once the switch is complete, the center lane of
SR 126 will be closed, leaving one lane open to traffic on the right and left
sides. This phase will remain in place until approximately Monday, Oct. 1.
Traffic will
be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane closure and
traffic switch. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
