State Route 128 full
closure scheduled
Hamilton
County (Tuesday, July 14, 2015) – Pavement work
requires a full closure of State Route 128 this weekend.
SR
128 will be closed between Cilley and Morgan roads from 7 a.m. Saturday, July
18 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 20.
Local
traffic will be maintained, but through traffic will be detoured as follows:
From
U.S. 50 to northbound SR 128, use Cilley Road to Kilby Road to Interstate 275.
Truck traffic should stay on U.S. 50 to Kilby Road.
From
I-275 to southbound SR 128, use Morgan Road to Harrison Avenue to Kilby Road to
access U.S. 50. Truck traffic should stay on I-275 to Kilby Road to access U.S.
50.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road
closure and detour, and work is dependent on weather.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
