State Route 129 Resurfacing and Bridge Repair
Project Update
Butler County (Friday,
Aug. 2, 2019) - The State Route 129 resurfacing and bridge repair
project requires the following restrictions:
Sunday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 9: Single lane closures on east and west SR 129 between the city of
Hamilton and Cincinnati-Dayton Road interchange nightly from 7 p.m. until 6
a.m. the following day. Ramps closures at I-75 and Cincinnati-Dayton Road
nightly from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
In addition, pavement
repairs require the following ramp closures from 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4 until 5
a.m. Monday, Aug. 5:
- West and east SR 129 at the
Cincinnati-Dayton Road ramps
- Cincinnati-Dayton Road to
I-75/Liberty Way
- West SR 129 to
Cincinnati-Dayton Road
- South I-75 to west SR 129
Also, single lane
closures will be in effect to complete resurfacing of the median turnarounds.
This will likely take place nightly 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day
Thursday, Aug. 8 and Friday, Aug. 9.
Traffic will be
maintained.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent
upon the weather.
To ensure the safety of
the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
