State Route 131/Hunt Road/Moore-Marathon Road
intersection closure
Clermont County (Thursday, July 12, 2018) - Culvert installation under
State Route 131 and Hunt/Moore-Marathon roads in Wayne Township requires a full
closure of State Route 131 at the Hunt/Moore-Marathon Road intersection
beginning Monday, July 30.
SR 131 will be closed
between SR 133 in Clermont County and U.S. Route 50 in Brown County. Work also
requires closing Hunt Road and Moore-Marathon Road at the SR 131 intersection.
The roads will be
closed from 7 a.m. Monday, July 30 until approximately 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31.
The detour for SR 131
uses SR 133 and U.S. Route 50. The detour for Hunt Road will use
Marathon-Edenton Road, and the detour for Moore-Marathon Road will use Bucktown
Road, Weaver Road and SR 133.
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the
upcoming work zone and full closure. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
