SR 222 closure scheduled for culvert work
Clermont County (Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015) – Work to accommodate culvert work will require closure of State Route 222 the next two weeks.
The week of Oct. 19, State Route 222 will be closed between Chapel and Slade Roads from 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19 through 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23.
The week of Oct. 26, State Route 222 will be closed between Elklick and Chapel Roads from 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26 through 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28.
The detour for both closures is westbound SR 125 to northbound SR 132 for northbound traffic, with southbound SR 222 traffic using the detour in reverse.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
