State
Route 28 lane closures scheduled
Clermont County (Monday,
March 28, 2016) – Strain pole installation requires lanes closures on
State Route 28 this week.
Single
lane closure on eastbound SR 28 at Buckwheat Road beginning at 8 p.m.
Wednesday, March 30, reopening by midnight. If needed for equipment, part of
the southeast corner of the intersection will also be under lane closure
restriction. During installation, the signal will be placed on STOP and GO operation and law
enforcement officers will maintain traffic. All work is weather dependent.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety
of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
