State Route 320 full closure scheduled
Preble County (Monday,
July 1, 2019) - Pavement work, guardrail and bridge repair require
a full closure of State Route 320 between U.S. 40 and New Westville beginning
Monday, July 8 until Friday, July 12.
Traffic will be
detoured using Interstate 70, Old U.S. 35 and U.S. 40.
In addition, various
lane closures on SR 121 from the Indiana state lane to the Preble/Darke county
line. Lane closures will be daily from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. until approximately
the end of September. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming full closure and lane closures. All
work is contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
