State Route 503 closure scheduled for culvert
replacement
Butler County (Tuesday, June 12) – Culvert replacement requires closing SR 503
for 23 days beginning Monday, June 19.
SR 503 will be closed
between Mill Road and Van Trump Road, beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, June 19
through 12 a.m. Monday, July 10. The detour uses SR 503, SR 744, U.S. Route 127
and SR 725.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
