72 to close for culvert work
Greene County (Thursday,
May 28, 2015) – Culvert work will require closing State
Route 72 beginning June 1.
The work, scheduled for completion June 5, will take
place just north of Burr Road. The detour for northbound SR 72 traffic is south
on I-71 to north on U.S. 68 to east on U.S. 35 to SR 72. Southbound traffic
will use the same detour in reverse.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road
closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
