State Route 729 full closure scheduled for
railroad maintenance
Clinton County (Tuesday,
June 25, 2019) - Work on the O&I Railroad requires closing
State Route 729 north of U.S. 22/SR 3 in the village of Sabina beginning at 8
a.m. Thursday, June 27.
State Route 729 will be
closed until approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 3. The detour uses SR 729,
U.S. 22/SR 3, SR 72 and Interstate 71.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road closure. All work
is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
