State Route 73 detour begins June 6
 
Butler County (Tuesday, May 24, 2016) – Culvert replacement requires closing State Route 73 east of Shollenbarger Road June 6 through 10.
 
Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, June 6, SR 73 will be closed between SR 177 and U.S. 27 until approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 10. The route will be open over the weekend, and will close again from 7 a.m. Monday, June 13 until approximately 3:30 Friday, June 17.
 
The detour will use SR 177, SR 130 and U.S. 27.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road closure.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
