State Route 747 closure scheduled
Butler County (Monday, Nov. 4, 2013) – Railroad work will require closing State Route 747 between Port Union Road and Union Centre Boulevard.
SR 747 will be closed from 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 until 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. The detour will be posted.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
