REVISED START DATE
State Route 131 closure
scheduled to begin June 19
Clermont County (Tuesday, June 13, 2017) – Culvert work requires
closing SR 131 between Wild Rose Lane and Hilltop Way, just east of Red Lake,
for culvert replacement beginning June 19.
Beginning
at 7 a.m. Wednesday,
June 19, SR 131 will be
closed until approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 13. The detour will use SR 131,
SR 132, SR 28 and Buckwheat Road.
A
local detour is also posted: Deerfield Road to Woodville Road to SR 28 to
Buckwheat Road back to SR 28.
Access
to Dry Run and Miami Meadows Park is being maintained.
Arrow
boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone
and road closure.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through a work zone.
