Interstate 75 Thru the Valley lane and ramp
closures
Hamilton County (Friday, June 9, 2017) – Work on the Interstate 75/Thru the Valley
project includes the following restrictions beginning next week:
Lane and shoulder closures on north and southbound I-75 between
south of Shepherd Avenue and north of Glendale Milford Road, and on the
collector roads. These closures will be nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday
through Friday, and from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, beginning
Monday, June 12 through Friday, June 30. Traffic will be maintained.
In addition, close the northbound I-75 ramp to eastbound Glendale
Milford Road at 8 p.m. Friday, June 23 for approximately one year. Traffic will
be detoured using the northbound I-75 loop ramp to westbound Glendale Milford
Road.
Also, a traffic phase shift on east and westbound Glendale Milford
Road over I-75, reducing lane widths and shifting traffic to the north side of
the bridge, nightly from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., beginning Wednesday, June 14
through May 1, 2018.
A traffic phase shift on Shepherd Avenue east of the northbound I-75
ramp, reducing lane widths and shifting traffic to the south side of Shepherd
Avenue, nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Thursday, June 15 through
Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of
the upcoming work zones and various closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as
the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and
watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
