Traffic switch scheduled for Central Parkway
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015) – Construction
work on Interstate 75 at Hopple Street will open Central Parkway to two lanes
in each direction between Marshall and Monmouth roads this week.
To implement this new traffic
configuration, work requiring a lane closure in each direction on Central
Parkway will take place from 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10 until 6 a.m. Friday, Dec.
11.
The signal at the intersection of Central Parkway and the
Connector Road will be maintained by law enforcement officers during the
traffic switch.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
