Traffic Switch for State Route 63 Scheduled
Traffic will soon be driving on new pavement on State Route 63 as work to construct the I-75/SR63 single point urban interchange (SPUI) progresses.
Scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, the switch will put traffic on new pavement on the north side of SR 63.Work to implement the switch is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Once traffic is moved to new pavement, work will proceed to construct the south portion of SR 63 from Lawton Avenue to just west of Senate Drive.Two lanes of traffic will continue to be maintained.
This work on State Route 63 is part of the $98 million widening and reconstruction of I-75 in Butler and Warren counties.
