Tree clearing requires lane closures on State Route 126

Hamilton County (Tuesday, March 21, 2017) – Tree clearing to prepare for upcoming culvert work requires lane closures on eastbound State Route 126 beginning next week.

Beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, March 27 there will be various lane closures on eastbound SR 126 between Ridge Road (MM 29) and Plainfield Road (MM 31) until 6 a.m. the following day. These lane closures will be in place each night through Sunday, April 2 and traffic will be maintained.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
