U.S. 35 lane closures scheduled for pavement repair

U.S. 35 lane closures scheduled for pavement repair

Greene County (Thursday, July 14, 2016) – Pavement repairs require closing U.S. 35 west of North Fairfield Road in the city of Beavercreek to U.S. 35/Old U.S. 35 interchange in the city of Xenia.

Beginning Saturday, July 16, there will be nightly lane closures on U.S. 35 each week night from 7 p.m. until to 6 a.m. the following day. There will be a 12-foot lane that will be maintained at all times in the westbound and eastbound directions. Lane closures will be in place until approximately November, 2016.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
