U.S. 50 lane closure scheduled for slide repair
Hamilton County (Monday, Aug. 15, 2016) – In order for crews to perform slide repair work, the right lane of eastbound U.S. 50 in the city of Fairfax near Red Bank Road will be closed tomorrow morning (approximately 9 a.m.), with traffic shifted to the left lane.
This work will take place from mile marker 29 to mile marker 30. The anticipated completion date is Friday, Aug. 26.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane closure, and all work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
