Various Lane Closures on U.S. 50 (River Road)
Hamilton County (Friday, Sept. 30, 2011) – As part of the Waldvogel Viaduct removal and reconstruction project, lane closures will be in place next week on U.S. 50 between State Avenue and Evans Street. This work will be from 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 until 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4. Flagging operations and local law enforcement officers will maintain traffic.
Vehicles over 16 tons are restricted from using the existing viaduct until it is replaced.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
