U.S. Route 68 Lane Closure Scheduled
Clinton County (Wednesday,
May 29, 2019) - Bridge deck replacement requires maintaining one
lane of two-way traffic with a temporary signal on U.S. Route 68 between north
of Westboro and south of Midland.
The lane closure will
start at 7 a.m. Thursday, May 30 and be in place until approximately the end of
August, 2019.
The lane width will be
restricted to 11 feet.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent
upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
