U.S. 68 closure scheduled for culvert replacement
Clinton County (Monday, July 18, 2016) – Culvert replacement requires U.S. 68 to be closed just south of State Route 28 beginning next week.
U.S. 68 will be closed just south of the Indiana and Ohio Central Railroad on Monday, July 25 at 7:00 a.m. for five days and reopen on Friday, July 29 at 3:30 p.m.
The detour includes SR 28, S. Clark Street, E. Main Street and SR 123.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. All work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
