U.S. Route 127 full closure scheduled for
culvert replacement
Preble County (Wednesday, May 23, 2018) - Culvert replacement
requires a full closure of U.S. Route 127 north of Mann Road beginning Tuesday,
June 12.
U.S. 127 will be closed
at 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 12 from just north of Mann Road to just south of
Antioch Road until approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26.
The detour uses SR 725,
SR 122 and U.S. 35. The local detour uses Antioch, Camden and Mann roads.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road
closure. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
