U.S. Route 22 closures scheduled for culvert work
 
Clinton County (Wednesday, June 1, 2016) – The following road closures and detours will be in place this month on U.S. Route 22 for culvert replacements:
 
Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 6, U.S. 22 will be closed just west of SR 134 until approximately 3 p.m. Friday, June 10. The detour will use SR 730 and SR 350.
 
Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, U.S. 22 will be closed just west of Borum Road until approximately 3 p.m. Monday, June 27. The detour will use U.S. 35 to SR 729.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
