U.S. Route 27 lane closures scheduled

U.S. Route 27 lane closures scheduled

Hamilton County (Monday, Aug. 29, 2016) – Preventive maintenance work requires lane closures on U.S. 27 beginning next week.

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 6, resurfacing on north and southbound U.S. 27 between State Route 126 and Interstate 275 requires lane closures from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.

Guardrail replacement will also require shoulder closures on north and southbound U.S. 27 north of I-275 to the Hamilton/Butler county line.

Lane and shoulder closures will be in place through the end of October.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone, lane and shoulder closures. Please remember that all work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
