U.S. Route 35 lane closures scheduled for bridge
Greene County (Tuesday, May 15, 2018) - Bridge work requires various
lane closures on east and west U.S. Route 35 between Factory and Trebein roads
from 8 p.m. Sunday, May 20 until 6 a.m. Monday, May 21.
In addition, various
lane closures on east and west U.S. 35 between the Greene/ Montgomery county line and Grange Hall Road
nightly from 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22 until 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 23. This
includes the east U.S. 35 ramp to north I-675.
Also, various lane
closures on east and west U.S. 35 between Interstate 675 and west of North
Farifield Road from 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24 until 6 a.m. Friday, May 25.
Traffic will be
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the
upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
