U.S. Route 35 lane closures scheduled
Greene County (Friday,
Aug. 2, 2019) - Pavement work requires various lane closures on
east and west U.S. Route 35 between Business U.S. 35 and the U.S. 68
interchange next week.
Lane closures will be
nightly from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day, Tuesday, Aug. 6 through
Friday, Aug. 9. Traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. All work is
contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
