U.S. Route 40 lane closures scheduled
Preble County (Friday,
May 3, 2019) - Paving, guardrail repair and minor bridge work
require various lane closures on U.S. Route 40 beginning Tuesday, May 7 until
approximately Thursday, August 1.
Lane closures will be
on U.S. 40 between U.S. 127 and the Preble/Montgomery county line weekdays from
7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All
work is contingent upon the weather.
To ensure the safety of
the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
