U.S. Route 42 closure scheduled

 
U.S. Route 42 closure scheduled for various culvert replacements
                                  
Greene County (Monday, July 25, 2016) – Replacement of various culverts on U.S. 42 just east of Stevenson Road and west of Wilberforce Clifton Road require a full closure.
 
Beginning Monday, August 1 at 7 a.m., U.S. 42 will be closed for approximately 12 days, reopening Friday, August 12.
 
The detour includes U.S. 68, SR 343 and SR 72.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. All work is dependent upon weather.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
