U.S. Route 50 Traffic Restrictions and Lane Shifts Scheduled

Hamilton County (Friday, September 20, 2019) - Pavement and drainage work to repair a slide on westbound U.S. Route 50, at the 32.60 mile marker, start Monday, September 23.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, traffic restrictions and lane shifts will be in effect on east and west U.S. 50, between C.R. 374 (Newtown Road) and the entrance to Avoca Park. Two lanes of bi-directional traffic will be maintained in the work zone; however, traffic pattern changes will be in effect throughout construction, which is scheduled to be complete by mid-December, 2019.
Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions and traffic shift. All work is contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
