U.S. Route 50 work moves to Phase 2

U.S. Route 50 widening moves to Phase 2

Clermont County (Friday, June 3, 2016) – Widening and pavement resurfacing on U.S. 50 in Marathon, Jackson Township, is now in Phase 2, as work is complete on the west end of the project.

U.S. 50 is closed on the east end, from just past Fomorin Road/SR 286 to the Clermont/Brown county line for 60 days.

Traffic will be detoured north on SR 133 to east on SR 131 to south on U.S. 68.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road closure. All work is weather dependent.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
