U.S. Route 68 closure scheduled for culvert replacement
Clinton County (Thursday, June 1, 2017) – Culvert replacement requires closing U.S.
Route 68 for 10 days beginning Monday, June 5.
U.S. 68 will be
closed 0.7 miles south of State Route 28 beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, June 5
through 3 p.m. Thursday, June 15. The detour uses SR 28, S. Clark St. (SR 28),
E. Main St. (SR 28) and SR 123.
Arrow boards
and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
