U.S. Route 68 Lane Closure Scheduled
Clinton County (Friday,
May 31, 2019) - Pavement work requires various lane closures on
U.S. Route 68 from Interstate 71 to north of U.S. 22/3 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Saturday, June 1.
Lane closures will also
be in effect in this area from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m Monday, June 3 through
Friday, June 7. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent
upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
